About Ranger Defensemen
Our goal is to focus on the IQ and skills that a defenseman requires in today’s modern game.
Ranger Defensemen was created by ex-NHL Pro Hockey Player, Paul Ranger, to provide an elite service for Professional, Junior, AAA and AA players.
Its goal is to focus on the IQ and skills that a defenseman requires in today’s modern game. Ranger Defensemen will teach the IQ and skills required for standard situations all over the ice and implement drills to increase hockey IQ in special situations.

Paul Ranger grew up playing AAA in Whitby Minor Hockey and was drafted out of Major Bantam to the Oshawa Generals in the 2000 OHL Draft 29th overall as an underage player. He spent four seasons with the Generals and was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 6th Round in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. After spending his first professional year in the AHL during the lockout, Paul earned a position with the Tampa Bay Lightning the following season. Paul was an elite skater, two-way defender and puck mover with a specialty in joining the rush. He played a total of 323 NHL games with Tampa and Toronto, posting a 0.33 ppg in regular season games and 0.64 ppg in NHL playoffs.

There will be a maximum of 6 defensemen on the ice with Paul Ranger at all times. This ratio is paramount for individuals learning to their maximum potential. Privates are also available down to 1 on 1 coaching sessions.
